The role of the Lector is to proclaim the Word of God during Liturgical celebrations, it is a very special kind of Ministry, indeed a wonderful honour for all Lectors. Those who practice this ministry should have the noble and unselfish desire to share the good news of God’s love for the world through Jesus Christ. It should be uttered with conviction, clarity, and skill.
